My Story

My name is Drikus Botha. At the time of writing this article I’m 38 years old. I have a lovely wife called Eloise, a beautiful son called John-Thomas and a little sister on the way.

I want to try and give you some background on who I am, what makes me tick and what really irritates me.

Currently I’m a very successful entrepreneur, doing the things that I love and are passionate about. You better believe me that this wasn’t the case in my not to distant past.

You see, I’m a person with an insatiable desire to build and grow outrageously profitable businesses, but many of my businesses never even made a profit. This often tested my self-worth to the ultimate.

The amount of doubt is just over-whelming. I use to think to myself I will never be successful because no matter how hard I tried, my plans just never worked out.

The emotional guilt, thinking about how your family depends on you and you are not able to produce on your dreams almost destroyed my desire to be the best I can be.

My life turned around one day when I read an article on “Who are you?”. I realized I must make peace with who I am and then focus on my strengths. I decided to focus absolutely on the things that I love to do.

The one thing in my life that I can do for the rest of my life without getting paid a dime for it is helping people understand the power of passive income. I remember even as a young boy I always tried to show my sisters ways to make money.

So I started looking for a way that I can live the way my true self wanted to live. In 1994 I found my answer in the online marketing industry.

In the last 14 years the amount of personal development that I received as being a part of this industry is just phenomenal. I learned how to handle happiness, joy, sorrow and sadness.

I learned that most people are nice but most people also have issues or emotional baggage that prevent them from living a fruitful and abundant life.

I learned that there are people who really care about your progress in life but there are even more people who would love to see you fail. Isn’t that sad?

Most of all I learned that to achieve any dream you must be willing to pay the price. In the case of my passion - online marketing - I have to listen to some people everyday telling me Drikus Botha you are a scamming twit robbing innocent people from their money.

The fact of the matter is I don’t care if they want to live there lives like trolls, spreading bitterness everywhere they go.

What I care about is the people thanking me for changing their lives.

I will share with you some of the dreams that became a reality in my life as a result of the power of passive income and online marketing.

I’ve told you just a bit of myself but you will learn a lot more about me, following the posts in my blog. I realize not everyone is going to like what I have to say but I made a choice of living who I am…not what the masses want me to be.
